Transport Update 5th January
As I’m sure you have heard, the latest government announcement has said that all schools and colleges will close from tomorrow (5th January) until February half-term EXCEPT for children of key workers and for vulnerable children.
As we do not have time to work out who those children are right now, please can you run everything tomorrow in case someone needs to travel, unless you absolutely know (from e.g. a school email) that the school is completely closed to every child or a parent has contacted you to let you know that their child won’t be going in. Over the next week we will try to get schools to let us know who the children are who need to go in, so that we can scale back the transport to what is actually needed.
