Transport Update 4th January 2021

all transport needs to run as normal from Monday 4^th January – unless you know the school has a pre-planned Inset day.

This is because:

• Primary schools are open as usual anyway – the phased return to allow for testing only applies to high schools and colleges
• Special schools are open as usual anyway because schools have to remain open for vulnerable children – but testing will take place on high school age pupils
• High schools and colleges need to be open for vulnerable children, for children of key workers and for students who have exams to take, and we don’t have time to work out who they are before 4^th, so transport will need to run as normal in case children need to go in, even if it runs empty
